How We Verify Sleep Clinic Listings

Every listing on SleepClinicFinder.com starts from public business data for the 13 municipalities we cover in Peel, Halton, and the GTA, and is then checked against the clinic's own website before any service detail is displayed.

Evidence-only service flags

A service flag — in-lab sleep study, home sleep test, CPAP, dental appliance, myofunctional therapy, pediatric acceptance — is shown only when the clinic's own published materials state it. We store the exact supporting quote and source page for each flag. If we cannot find evidence, the flag stays off; we never infer services from a business category.

OHIP, referrals, and access details

Where a clinic publishes OHIP billing information, referral requirements, home-test availability, virtual options, or accepted insurers, we record it and show it on the listing. Where it does not, the listing says “not confirmed — ask the clinic” rather than guessing.

What earns a full profile

Full clinic profiles are limited to clinics that are strongly rated (4.5+ stars with 25+ Google reviews), have claimed their listing, or have been evidence-verified against their own website. Thin records stay out of search engines until they earn their place.

Corrections
